Hello aquaculture friends. I run the trout program in southern Western Australia (yes we have browns and rainbows down here…they have a high temperature tolerance but it is still hard work through our summer).
I’m curious what the ‘going rate’ for eyed ova is in the USA. We don’t have a functioning market for ova here (I only sell fingerlings and a few yearlings) but I have been asked to develop a value for the broodfish and I figure that the price of eyed trout eggs is the logical starting point.
